The Year 5 students are continuing their their service learning project in collaboration with the Department of Environment and Mr Winston Conolley. They are cleaning the beach each month so that debris harmful to the environment can be removed.

Exploring our Coral Reefs
On Thursday April 29, 2010, the year 5 class had an opportunity to explore the Coral Gardens at Rumpoint. On their snorkelling expidition they were able to identify many of the fish that lived in the coral reef habitats in thier "Lifeforms and Locations Unit". They will now go on to create a 3D Model of a habitatof their choice. Accompanying the model will autobiographical account of the life of an animal in that habitat.
